Upcoming annual meetings
Friends of Hiratsuka - Please join us on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time for the third and final Japan Country Roundtable of the year. To let us know you're coming, please register here: We will chat a bit about succession planning in [sister city] organizations (tied to such issues as volunteer recruitment and youth involvement) and allow time to network with your peers from around the country. Come meet sister cities friends both new and old and glean some fresh ideas for your sister city program! Plus, here is a link to the recording of the September 22 roundtable.
Friends of Iniades - On Monday, December 5 at 5:30 p.m., we will hold a meeting for all members at Kathleen Hodge's home, 233 Arizona Street. The purpose of the meeting is to receive an update about our sister city in Greece and to elect a chair for a three year term.
The Annual Meeting for Sister Cities Lawrence members is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7 at 7:00 pm in the Watkins Museum Community room, 1047 Massachusetts Street. All members are invited to attend. Please use the south door on 11th Street, the accessible entrance.
The agenda includes:
Approve the minutes of the 2021 (December) meeting
Hear a report from the Governing Board Chair, Bill Keel
Hear reports from each of the three “Friends of” groups - Eutin, Hiratsuka, and Iniades
Elect two members at large to the governing board.
