Lawrence Mayor signs fourth Sister City agreement

On Thursday, July 18, Mayor Bart Littlejohn signed Lawrence’s fourth Sister City agreement to culminate a 3-day visit of a delegation from Tocopilla, Chile. Tocopilla Mayor Ljubica Kurtovic participated virtually. The ceremony at City Hall was witnessed by a 10-person delegation from Tocopilla, representatives of the U.S. Department of Energy, Lawrence city commissioners, governing board members of Sister Cities Lawrence, and reporters.
